I am going out of the United States this upcoming summer for 3 months and would like to have a credit card on me that I will be able to use in Europe without being hit with transaction fees. Does anyone know of a credit card company that issues cards without charging an exponential amount of interest or transaction fees?

They tacked on an additional @$2700 onto my loan and since that time my car payment went from $350 a month to $700 a month. Before this happened, my credit was good, and since after that time my credit changed drastically. I’ve been told that this may be illegal. If anyone has info, please let me know. Oh, and this is in CALIFORNIA.

How to pay off credit cards enrolled in a debt management program?

I have been in a debt management program with a local credit counseling service for about 8 months. My parents have offered to co-sign a loan so I can pay off the cards. The loan with the bank is a lower interest rate than the cards and will pay them off faster with a lower payment each month. Should I pay the cards directly or go through the credit counseling service? Which is better for my credit score?

I am aware that I can do this myself but I don’t have time to do it myself. Can anyone refer me to a good legit credit repair service. This question is ONLY for people who have used a credit repair service so please don’t answer if you haven’t used one. I don’t have any bankrupt or liens or anything that serious, but I do have a lot of collection, late payments, 1 charge off, and 1 repossession and a lot of inquires.

I guess the person with the highest CBR score is the one who determines the rate, but would both people on the loan have their CBR scores affected? My credit is worse than my wife’s, but I am wanting to get my credit back on the positive path, and we co-signed on an car loan. Will this help me at all, or will it be my wife who gets the CBR boost?

I may have to file bankruptcy and my credit application has an overstatement of assets. There was no fraud intended and I do have net assets of the amount stated. However, there is no date on the application. Can it be thrown out?

I have been using rewards cards and paying off the balance for years. I have read that applying for new credit card wont affect your record if you only get one, and don’t open too many in a short period of time. Not sure what “short period of time” is . There are 3 rewards cards I have been meaning to get because of bonus/rewards, but not sure how I should space them out.
