I hit a really tough time about 2 years ago, it started with the birth of my daughter and loosing my job afterwards. It seems like bad luck has just been following me! Is there a best way to go about repairing credit? I heard consolidation was not good.

Any lawyers know the best way to start a solo bankruptcy practice?

Are there any lawyers out there who practice bankruptcy who could tell me how difficult it would be to start a solo bankruptcy practice and how I might go about doing this. First, is this the kind of think that I could figure out with form books and software or should I work in a firm first? Also, could I mainly do Chapter 7’s or do I really need to do all kinds to stay afloat? Any helpful info by experienced bankruptcy lawyers would be greatly appreciated! I’m licensed in Mississippi if that helps.

I have also cleaned customers credit myself including mine and my wife`s and friends and family members but i have been doing it for free. And can you trade them in after you’re no longer a student for a “real” credit card? Do people just keep them forever? I always thought closing accounts lowered your credit score?

How can I get a bankruptcy removed from my credit report?

I filed in 2001. I disputed my bankruptcy and a lien with all 3 credit bureaus.
Transunion removed the lien not the bankruptcy
Equifax removed the bankruptcy and not the lien
Experian wouldn’t remove neither one.

Now i know once you dispute an item the creditor has 30 days to respond or its removed from your file how can i get the others removed or do I just have to wait it out
If one bureau remove it dont the others have too.

What to do with bonus- pay the credit cards or make an investment?

we never live with credit cards before. and now we have 5000$ on our credit cards that we cant close . we are doing a min paymant every month and trying to pay more than that. we will have a bonuce 7000$ at the end of the year. will it be beter to pay to credit cards at onece. or there is another way to pay credits(and put this bonus on investment).
I read about calling to creditors and talking with them, so they will give a 10-20% of if we will pay it atonce, but will it afect in bad way to our credit report.

Also the airline companies and even some shop-keepers always tries to avoid or do not allow purchases on a debit card. What’s the benefit of a shop-keeper other than the card company in this transaction. Can we raise our voice against this discrimination?
